Body as Archive is an inter-disciplinary exhibition of short and durational live works focussing on gesture as both a communicative and performative act; expressing semantic content whilst enacting (and reenacting) histories, power relations, identities, and belief systems.

Taking place across 5 rooms at the Slade Research Centre, the event considers notions of gesture from across a range of different perspectives spanning dance, movement, music, sport, speech, intimacy and breath.
