Nadia is a theatre maker and film director. From 2018 – 2020, she was Genesis Director at the Young Vic, where she directed the acclaimed UK premiere of Jackie Sibblies Drury’s Fairview in 2019.
Nadia’s other theatre credits include Nightclubbing (Lowry/Camden People’s Theatre/Tour); Fall of the Kingdom, Rise of the Footsoldier (RSC); Octagon, But I Cd Only Whisper, The Ballad of Crazy Paola (Arcola); Homegrown (NYT); Even Stillness Breathes Slowly Against a Brick Wall (Soho); Saved (Drama Centre); Carrot (Latitude/Theatre503); Coalition, Wild Horses, Slaves (Theatre503); In the Heart of America, The Daughter in Law (RADA).
Nadia’s film credits include They Heard Him Shout Allahu Akbar (Film4) ; My England (Young Vic); White Girl (BFI).
She is currently prepping to direct her first feature film, an adaptation of the Walter Mosley novel 'The Man In My Basement'.
