My practice has often been confessional, drawn from memories of childhood and relationships with my family. In this prevalent screen era, in which human interactions have become increasingly staged, my work reflects a longing to connect. Through displays of vulnerability I aim to convey our inherent humanity, and through empathy encourage the viewer to be more than just a spectator.
