The winner of the Michael Farrell Award for Photography 2024 is Lily Petch.

The award is given by the family of Mick Farrell to an Undergraduate Final Year student working with Photography. The winner for the Michael Farrell Award for Photography was selected at the Private View last week. Mick (Michael) passed away in 2015 and was our Photography technician at the Slade. He was trained as a sculptor, his wife Jo Bruton who teaches Painting at Chelsea set up the Award in his memory. Jo and Venus were accompanied by family friends Steph Kingston (a former Slade painting student) and Mick’s mum Liz.
