My art practice largely comprises works in video, photography and print-based media. It is informed by the phenomenon of looking, and how from looking, we make sense of the dizzying multiplicity of things we continuously see, learn and experience. How do we construct and understand a sense of the self, and of our collective existence, amid the blur of visual stimuli we are bombarded with on a daily basis? My projects tackle this question, using recognizable subjects such as natural landscapes, memory, the Internet, physical technological devices such as computers, modern art, cinema, and music, as starting points.
