UCL East Provost's Art Prize, 2020

Before stepping down as President & Provost of UCL, Professor Michael Arthur launched the new  UCL East  Provost Art Prize. Until the opening of the new campus, the Prize will annually recognise the achievements of five graduates from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL who will each receive a £2,000 award. Their selected artwork will feature at UCL East, on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London.

The Great Big Art Exhibition has been launched by Sir Antony Gormley. The exhibition is open to submissions from the British public and hopes to be the largest art exhibition ever mounted. Details of how to take part, including a free activity pack, are available from arts organisation FirstSite. Crowd Crystal, Anna Jochymek, video

Anna Jochymek's video performative project Crowd Crystal is showing online from 14 January - 14 March 2021. There is a public online opening at 7pm on Thursday 14 January, including a panel discussion between Anna Jochymek and Katarzyna Depta-Garapich. See the Watermans' website for further details.
