London Scupture Workshop, LSW, founded by Giles Corby and Jessica Mello, with Melis van den Berg as Studio Manager, have been awarded a Chelsea Arts Club Trust Artist’s Run Space Award. LSWis the first London based, not-for-profit, community interest-based company for artists and those interested in making work in 3D. See londonsculptureworkshop.org.

Recent graduate Marianna Simnett has been shortlisted for the Jerwood/Film and Video Umbrella Awards. The shortlisted artists, will work towards an interim exhibition at Jerwood Visual Arts in March 2014. Two of these works will then be taken forward with further support and a £20,000 budget each. Hannah Luxton has submitted a piece for the Kings College Hospital Auction. A group of Kings College nurses, patients and local people have organised an auction of 100 artworks to celebrate 100 years of the hospital and the rich, artistic heritage of Camberwell. There are works by internationally renowned artists, to Kings, past and current patients. The exhibition is open for viewing now, and the private view is Thursday 12 December at 6pm, with the auction following at 7pm.

The Slade School of Fine Art will be hosting the first annual Slade Print Fair from Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th November 2013. This inaugural Slade Print Fair is an initiative to fund scholarships to support students embarking on studies at the Slade School of Fine Art and will feature prints and multiples by Slade alumni, staff and current students.
