RGB East: Interactive digital photography programme
RGB East is formed by the Arts-Science partnership of Jo Guile UCL and Glass student, and Dr Emily Patterson UCL. It explores the relationship between colour, vision and perception. It is sponsored by UCL’s Public Art and Community Engagement Programme – Trellis, Stage 1.
They have designed a photography-led public engagement activity, which is targeted at people who live in the four boroughs – Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Walthamstow – that border the Olympic Park and can be safely carried out while social distancing is in place.
You are invited to upload a ‘colourful’ photograph(s) you have taken on a local walk within the above boroughs which will then be turned into a video of a colour illusion and sent back to you. To find out more details, please follow the link below to their web page: https://rgbeast.co.uk.Read about it in this article in the Hackney Gazzette: https://www.hackneycitizen.co.uk/2020/06/12/public-art-project-hackney-residents-colourful-photos-optical-illusions/
